Mighty Carver Knife from Shark Tank Reviewed

We all love Thanksgiving, and we all love turkey. Cutting this huge bird every year is a Thanksgiving tradition, but we never thought we could be carrying it out with a power tool! Now, you can slice the turkey with ease, thanks to this invention from Kim and Lance Burney. We were impressed by it a lot and were compelled to share this Mighty Carver Knife review.

When the power couple took the stage at the Shark Tank, they were thrilled to show off their cool gadget, and the judges were enjoying the show. It’s rare to see all the investors at Shark Tank quarrel over a deal, but when the deal is as sweet as cutting the Thanksgiving turkey with a chainsaw, who would think twice? The power dance couple struck a deal with Daymond John for 25% equity at 100,000. The deal was timed perfectly by Daymond as other investors were talking over it. The Mighty Carver is a marvelous invention and an innovative take on traditional electric knives. With Daymond John backing the power couple, the Mighty Carver Knife was destined to carve through the competition and rise to the top.

However, the real challenge is clearing our review and proving to the customers that this product is worth buying. Today, we will be testing the Mighty Carver and seeing whether this product falls flat or cuts through the turkey gracefully!

Our Review of the Mighty Carver Knife

Upon first glance, the Mighty Carver looks identical to a portable chainsaw—something Leatherface uses from the movie Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The design looks like it’s made of plastic from a distance but lives up to its reputation when held up close and personal. Our Mighty Carver Knife review is broken down into 3 sections; so, keep reading to learn more about how it feels in the hands.

The Design

Aesthetically speaking, the Mighty Carver Knife is very comfortable to hold. Its grip is nice and soft, plus it’s not as heavy as you might expect. Moving on, the button is placed at the right spot, and starting it isn’t as challenging as starting a chainsaw. The knife covering looks plastic, but it’s durable, and the blade is well tucked between its cover.

There is a handle on top of the grip to maneuver the might carving knife, and you get the feeling of using a power tool. People addicted to using power tools will enjoy using the Mighty Carver and won’t have any trouble handling it.

The Test

We tested the Mighty Carver knife on various products and surfaces. The tool is sturdy and doesn’t break easily. Plus, the knife retained its sharpness after being tested on 5 turkeys, 3 bagels, and 5 loaves of bread. To take it a step further, we tested the Mighty Carver knife on a rock and then used it on meat. Surprisingly, the blade didn’t lose its durability and was cutting through like butter.

The grip is smooth and could benefit from a textured coating; however, we didn’t experience any slippage. Plus, the top handle also acts as a support grip, so there was no chance of losing the knife and allowing it to run wild on the table. The Mighty Carver is an electric knife, and if you aren’t careful with it, you might cut your plate. So, that’s a point to watch out for. Other than this, the Mighty Carver was very interesting, and it proved to be an excellent tool for cutting fish, just like what Daymond said on Shark Tank.

Pros of the Mighty Carver Knife

  • Excellent durability
  • The blade was sharp enough to carve gracefully through turkey, bread, and bagel
  • The grip was comfortable, and you won’t notice any trouble handling it
  • The Mighty Carver is identical to a chainsaw, but it was very stable to use
  • Excellent tool for using at events, BBQ, and birthday parties

Cons of The Mighty Carver Knife

  • The product has no child control switch, which might be a reason for many people not buying it
  • The product has no cover to cover the blade so people owning this knife might have to store it at a safe place after use

Alternatives to The Mighty Carver

The Mighty Carver knife is rivaled by a mini chainsaw which can easily be found in your nearest hardware or cutlery store. However, the feel and experience of using the Mighty Carver are different from using a mini one-hand chainsaw. For starters, mini chainsaws lack the graceful cuts of the Mighty Carver, and they don’t have a secondary grip. Moreover, mini chainsaws can heat up if you use them for more than 3-5 minutes, which means you have to take small breaks between slicing your dinner.

Is it Safe to Use At Special Occasions?

While the Mighty Carver is made to be used at Thanksgiving, which is where the product idea came from, there is no limitation to how and when you want to use it. This giant electric knife can be used at birthday parties, weddings, and other occasions that require slicing and dicing. The Mighty Carver knife is safe to use and won’t go flying off your hand. However, it would be best to keep it away from children just like any other cutlery. All in all, this amazing product got our team excited, and it was deserved. It will have you contented when you slice through a turkey with this chainsaw knife.

Our Final Thoughts

The Mighty Carver won all the investors at the Shark Tank and left the same impression on us. This product’s build quality and usability were phenomenal compared to what we expected, and slicing through different foods was clean and exciting. The feeling of using a chainsaw combined with the sharpness and control of a knife is what we all wanted but never realized until the Mighty Carver was in front of us. After working on this Might Carver Knife review, we can safely say it will be an excellent addition to your set of knives.
